The meeting was hosted by Mr. Xu Qingsong, R&D Director and General Manager of the Charging Business Division at CYG ET. Mr. Liu Yongdong, Deputy Secretary-General of the China Electricity Council and President of the Electric Transportation and Energy Storage Branch, and Mr. Ni Feng, Chief Expert in the Charging and Swapping Direction at State Grid Corporation of China, delivered opening remarks and provided guidance for the event. Ms. Li Xuling, Business Expert at State Grid Electric Power Research Institute Co., Ltd., and Mr. Chen Bing, CTO of Xiamen Galaxy Longxin Technology Co., Ltd., introduced the system architecture design of the open-source project. The main objectives of this event were to review the open-source code completed by the core working group, interpret and discuss the new national standards, and perform code verification in the CYG ET comprehensive laboratory’s charging R&D area.

As the next-generation DC charging technology, ChaoJi is primarily designed to address safety, reliability, compatibility, and scalability issues in the charging process. For instance, enabling vehicle-to-grid (V2G) interaction is one of the key goals for the development of new energy vehicles. V2G allows charging stations to adjust their charging power during peak electricity demand periods, while using electric vehicles as mobile energy storage devices to transfer power back to the grid, helping to reduce grid load pressure. ChaoJi provides solutions for vehicle-to-grid interaction through its standard construction and communication protocols.

Looking ahead, CYG ET will continue to focus on its company positioning, strengthen communication with the industry, and increase R&D investment in industry standards and vehicle-grid interaction technologies. The company will continue to explore new business models in the renewable energy sector while fulfilling its responsibility as a leading energy brand in technological innovation, industry leadership, and ensuring the safety of electricity and energy usage. CYG ET is committed to driving the sustainable development of the new energy industry.
