Large-Scale Energy Storage Systems Solution

CYG ET launched a 1MW/2MWh containerized energy storage system, which integrates a 2064.38kWh lithium iron phosphate battery system, a 1MW power conversion system, a battery management system, a local control system, a fire protection system, a power supply and distribution system and a temperature control system. All devices are installed in a 20" standard container, showing a high degree of system integration and high energy density. In addition, we also adopt a technology roadmap of container distributed energy storage system, one management system is for one cluster, each 344.064kWh battery cluster is provided with a power conversion system with a rated power of 186kW. Modular and standardized design ideas provide efficient and flexible energy storage solutions for new energy stations. The containerized energy storage system can realize centralized monitoring, intelligent diagnosis and scientific management of the operating status of the power station, so as to improve operational efficiency, reduce management costs and meet the needs of the rapid development of the new energy industry.

Case

Turnkey project of 200MW PV supported with 30MW (60MWh) energy storage in Yongdeng, Gansu

The project is located in Qishan Township, Yongdeng County, Gansu Province. CYG ET built 200MW of photovoltaic power generation for Area A, which was supported with a 30MW/60MWh energy storage system. The project built 12 prefabricated battery cabins and 12 prefabricated PCS cabins, 2 station transformers, 2 cable branch boxes, and a secondary equipment cabin (EMS). The supporting dual 35kV transmission lines use overhead cable hybrid lines, with a line path length of 2x1.31km. The project organized bidding in July 2022, officially started construction in September, conducted quality supervision and acceptance in November and succeeded in grid connection in March 2023. The system has the functions of plan tracking, smooth control, system peak regulation, primary/secondary frequency modulation, system voltage regulation, power control, economical operation, demand response, etc. 

After the project was completed and put into operation, it not only has a good economic effect on the construction and development of new energy in Qishan Township, Yongdeng County, but also is a matter of significance to the optimization of power supply structure, energy saving and emission reduction, environmental protection and sustainable development.
